The South Bend Riley at South Bend Washington boys basketball game which was postponed last week after a fan-involved brawl in the stands won't continue, per the South Bend Community School Corporation. "The district and schools have reviewed team schedules and unfortunately, due to sectional games, the Washington v. Riley game is unable to be rescheduled this season," SBCSC said via released statement Friday evening. Riley (10-9, 6-3 NIC) held a 30-28 lead at halftime when a halftime brawl in the stands forced the postponement of the game after security and police were called in to help break up multiple fights between spectators, several of which spilled onto the floor.
